We will be treated to high quality Vegetarian food that is made fresh and mostly organic, picked directly from the garden and cooked with love and dedication for your health and pleasure.

About Sama Yoga

An intuitive approach that meets the students where they are at and lets them feel acceptable the whole way through. The practice is smooth, with guidance given to adapting your breath to stabilize your nervous system.

We take time to warm up the spine, back and breath through flowing movements and then once open we stay in poses for some time and with clear guidance to unlock hold patterns and emotional pain. The well balanced practice includes Mantras, Qi Gong and wisdom from Ayurveda and Bhagavat Gita.

Ayurveda classes

One can expect to learn the basics about Ayurveda. Even in a few classes one can see understand how to immediately apply healthy, balancing habits to one’s life. We will learn some simple recipes to use in cooking, self-care and sleeping and see the link of Yoga to Ayurveda.

Yoga Philosophy

A big part of Sama Yoga is to learn how to live life in a balanced way, where there’s less reactions and pressure. A simple example is using words to create light, not heat.

We teach the basic Values (Yamas and Niyamas) in a very fresh and inspiring way, bringing life to these essential values and seeing how paying attention to them can truly benefit our life. Learn how to respond intelligently in stressful situations and use the wisdom of yoga to open your heart to a more fulfilling life.




In search for balance, healing and answers to life’s purpose and meaning, Sky came to his first yoga class 28 years ago, and immediately felt at home and inspired to learn more.
His journey has led him to study several forms of yoga, including Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kundalini and the Chinese forms, Tai Chi and Qi Gong.

Over the years Sky has been educated in Ayurveda, studying 1 year with the master Dr. Vasant Lad, enriching his understanding of health and clear choices that support a balanced way of living. In 2001 he met his Guru, Swami Vagishananda, definitely the most important and influential meeting of his life. Blessed to be in close connection with his Guru, he continues to receive deep studies in Vedanta, sanskrit, mantras, Puja and all the yoga philosophy and values of the yogic tradition. This has given him a good grounding in the purpose and practices of Yoga as a way of achieving balance, harmony and total fulfillment in this life.

For the past 15 years Sky has been teaching yoga full time and in 2007 established the Sama Yoga school, which leads Yoga Teacher Trainings and retreats in Sweden, Bali, Scotland and Greece.

Skys classes are always spontaneous and deeply honoring of his students. He teachs with relaxed passion, humor and clear understanding of the poses and their benefits.
As his students say, it’s a very interesting, creative and fun form to practice. It looks like a Hatha Yoga flow, but spiced with Qi Gong and special mantras to open the heart.



Sanna’s passion has always been spiritual & personal growth, her interest spans over all aspects that Yoga includes. She searched answers for many years and in many traditions and since she was 16 has been committed to a daily Yoga & Meditation practice. But it wasn’t until she found traditional Advaita Vedanta that the search was satisfied.

Sannas name is very appropriate; it means “truth”, which has been her motivation and goal for as long as she can remember. She radiates an honesty and openness that invites immediate comfort and trust in all her students and clients.

Since 2009 she studies vedanta, sanskrit, mantra, chanting & ritual daily with her teachers in the Swami Dayananda Saraswati lineage and has been given their blessings to teach to carry the tradition further.

She is one of the main teachers in the Sama Yoga Teacher training and involved in the Yoga studio: “Under the Banyantree” in Bali. She also offers online classes, individual Life coaching sessions and spiritual guidance both live and on Skype.



An eco-conscious villa surrounded by vineyards located in a large property in open countryside, with a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere far from traffic and light contamination and only 15 min drive from the best beaches of the island.

A unique paradise in nature to support your practice, where you can let the healing essence of the place regenerate you.

You will stay in beautiful little houses or studios shared for two people, each with their own bathroom and terrace. You may enjoy the solar-heated pool and a large organic garden with fruit trees and vegetables.

We will discover the magic of the island, going to special lonely spots for meditate or having there one of the classes, bathing in isolated beaches, trekking though volcanoes and cliffs and watching the sunrise or sunset.

All excursions and transport during the trips are included.

To secure your retreat booking, we require a 250 € deposit. Full payment is due before September 15, 2018.

The Center has different forms of double accommodation: small houses (50 m2-40 m2), studios (30 m2), double rooms (15 m2) and a Yurt (28 m2).

The type of accommodation will be assigned by registration order.

A few double rooms will be reserved for individual use. Supplement: 180 €
